We have seen that in view of the larger context “the time of the end” in these texts refers to the time preceding the resurrection of the dead in Daniel 12:2 which will happen at the end of all things.41 This seems also to be the meaning here in Daniel 12:4. Just prior to the end of history, people will study and search out the Danielic visions just as Daniel himself searched out the seventy-year prophecy of Jeremiah (Dan 9:2). .
